Is this really happening?! After leaving camp a few days early from my Tusc program in 2006, I promised myself I would return to camp. I remember that day as if it was yesterday. It was Saturday morning and I was forced to leave during Shabbat services. Sitting on the bench under the round-up tree next to the fire circle, I sat clinging and crying to a group of close friends and counselors. I was devastated about having to leave early, but even more concerned about not knowing when I'd return to this place. Little did I know I'd be returning 7years later as a Tusc counselor. Sometimes the universe has a funny way of aligning in unexpected ways. This year the perfect series of events happened to bring me home this summer. I'm grateful to be here and can't wait to share this experience with all of you.
