I had a great time in july. The programming team has taken years and successfully seperated the two sessions into distinct curriculums. July was mass program, it was fight song, it was chaos night, the basketball marathon and the mohawk national league. In all facets mohawk thrived. We were led by a group of kids that has not been rivaled in some time. Their passion and fire was unmatched by other villages. I am quite sad to be seeing such great kids leave. Saying goodbye at the busses was no easy task.
Luckily for us much of that strong crop of mohawk men will be returning in August. Around 25 campers will be gracing us as part of a village of 64. This is the biggest mohawk since 2006 and is allowing us to expand back to six bunks. This is very exciting. To top it off the kids have color war and many other special things to look forward to. Its going to be an amazing session. I am brimming with excitement and cannot wait the two days for camp to begin again.
