O-4, O-5, and C-4 started in the same place as yesterday’s Judaic Studies journey. HOWEVER, their exploration took a different turn resulting in truly creative expressions.
After introducing Judaism at CSL, our discussion failed to focus on communicating with God like yesterday’s group. Rather, our discussion focused on the biblical genesis, expression of Halacha (Jewish Law): The Ten Commandments. We reviewed and questioned each commandment before the campers wrote their own, personal Ten Commandments.
Thirty campers, Ten Commandments each for a total of three hundred commandments. Although quite difficult and impossible to limit to ten, I selected the following commandments for your consideration. Consider how WE can ALL learn from OUR children. Enjoy!
