The campers are here!! I am extremely happy to say that the first day for Cayuga was a great success. The morning was filled with cheers and hugs as campers arrived to their home away from home. Following the annual first day lunch of chicken nuggets the campers headed back to their cabins to put on bathing suits. The afternoon was very fast paced. We had to fit in the swim test, the lice check, a safety talk with John, the bunk photo and unpacking all before dinner!
After dinner was our first night of CHL! For those who don't know, that is the Cayugan Hockey League. We had the kids do some shooting practice, running drills and they even played a short scrimmage. It was nothing but fun! Following that, all of camp met at the water front for our first camp fire! This summer has definitely started out on a great note!
