Hello CSL Parents and Families,
WOHOO!!! Camp, and most importantly Cayuga, is almost here! All of the Cayuga staff has been working extremely hard to get ready for summer 2013. Our goal is for each Cayugan to have the summer of their life.
This will be my seventeenth summer at CSL and second as Cayuga Unit Head. I started coming to CSL in 1997 as a youngest Cayugan and continued on through Senior Camper summer in 2004. Since then I have been a CIT, bunk counselor, and worked in programming. I am ecstatic to continue working in Cayuga this summer because this has always been my “home” village.
Our staff has several returning faces and many new ones. We have a very creative, energetic, and caring group of staff in Cayuga. We have all been working on bunk nights, village nights, special events, and even Fight Song for the past week. As reigning Fight Song champions, we are taking it very seriously to defend our trophy. You and the campers will love our staff (I definitely do already)!
You can expect us to return your children back to you at the end of July (or August for some) the same way you dropped them off… however, please note that they will be smarter, stronger, more confident, and more independent than you remember!
Thank you for sending your children to CSL. It truly is a special place. You can expect to hear a lot from our village throughout this summer through our media applications. It is going to be an amazing time for everyone, especially Cayuga!
Sincerely,
Max Krieger
Cayuga Unit Head
