Dear followers of camp seneca lake,
Today is only the second full day of orientation and I already can't wait for campers to arrive. This is my second year on staff but my first year working in Cayuga. Even though I haven't been in this village since I was an oldest camper in 2006, the staff here has made me feel right at home. We have so many great things already planned for the campers and I am so eager for them to come to life. That being said though, all this time here is invaluable. In everything we have done here I feel deep connections with the staff growing and I feel more prepared to facilitate the best summer these kids have ever had. We have so many new staff this year and the opportunity get to know some of them is also really nice. All in all I believe it was John Wooden who said "If you fail to prepare, prepare to fail." We are not going to fail to prepare.
