Today was quite the day! After a much needed sleep-in and breakfast in the village, we went down to the firecircle for a Saturday morning Shabbat service led by Tusc.
After services, discussion groups were held. In the youngest Seneca discussion group, we discussed today's social media. The discussion went really smoothly because the girls all had a lot to contribute to the conversation.
After a relaxing rest hour and Shabbat choice period, we went back to the village to get ready for Campstock, a large performance that showcases each child's unique talents.
Starting at 5, there were many unique acts that included comedy, singing and dancing. We ate a delicious dinner of make-your-own burritos as we enjoyed an amazing piano performance.
Finally, after waiting all session, it was time to reveal the Mystery Moses, an exchange of gifts that every camper and staff member participated in. The entire camp was filled with smiles as everyone met new people and enjoyed their personal gifts. At 10:30 we rounded up and returned back to the village where the girls immediately got ready and went to bed. It was a very long and tiring day, but that is ok because breakfast is not until 9 tomorrow!
