Hello CSL Parents and Families,
Where has time gone?! It has already been two weeks in the August session, but fortunately we still have one more to go! It has been an adventurous two weeks so far with a lot of fun activities and new memories. We were sad to see our two-weeker's leave us yesterday; we wish them the best for the rest of their summer.
At the beginning of the week was Color War. The 6th Color War was unlike the first five. Intensity, passion, drama, and personal challenge were as prevalent as ever. Everyone, especially Cayugans, put in everything they had both physically and emotionally. I am so proud of the Cayugans for their performance in Color War. They stood out in every facet of the program. Some Cayugans participated in a best-of-three floor hockey series, some performed in a dance, and a few in a puppet show. These 8-11 year olds were able to not only perform and play, but they did so to their maximum potential and in front of audiences of 300+ people.
The fun continues on as today is Cayuga Day! We are seeing a movie, going to a corn maze, playing mini-golf, and playing at an arcade. To end the day, we are having a cookout and playing glow-in-the-dark Gaga. It will be a great day and you can be sure to hear all about it soon.
As we enter the last week of camp we are sad it is coming to an end, but we know that all of us are going to cherish every last moment we have together in Cayuga. There is still a lot left for us to do!
