On Tuesday evening, Tusc sponsored the 2012 casino night in the Onondaga recreational facility. Each bunk was told to dress as a different animal to go along with the theme of "jungle". We had several different animals make an appearance in Mohawk. However, most notably, were the oldest Mohican's dressed as hunters. Oldest Mohawk was also fortunate enough to bring home the hardware, coming in first place. Hard work, determination, and heart all contributed to their success. With their first place prize, oldest was able to select a trip to Mr. Twistees for ice cream with Rob West.
Mohawk was all around camp on Wednesday. They had ropes, waterfront, athletics, and A+C. In the evening, village night was comprised of paint, and water balloons. Each camper was given the opportunity to throw a water ballon filled with paint at a plaque. Each bunk had a plaque that they threw balloons at. After this section of the program, a water war commenced, but only lasted a few minutes.
Mohawk day has been great. Smiles all around for a day well spent in the center of the universe, Rochester NY.
All the best,
