Today marks the end of one crazy and memorable week for Oneida. Beginning last monday morning, the 28 LITs began preparing for the August 2011 color war. They were in meetings with the programming team both monday and tuesday, doing prep work and becoming familiar with the itinerary of the program. Once tuesday night came around, for the following 48 hours they helped the programming team to run and execute the greatest color war CSL (or any camp for that matter) could have ever experienced.
Rachel Kosoff was on the programming team, but the rest of our staff competed in the events. Although my team did not win, it was an outstanding program and one of the highlights of my summer. The theme of fire and ice allowed for many creative events to take place, and all three teams (red, blue, and the programmers) fought hard until the end :)
