How many of you have seen a pile of snow in the middle of August in upstate New York? As of today all of CSL has seen this happen. On this bright, sunny Wednesday morning on Seneca Lake, our very own M-field contained a tarp filled with artificial snow. Beneath the snow contained many golf balls which the campers and staff used to try and score points for their teams. The Red team ended up with the most golf balls per village which helped their total points overall even though they did not win the Snow Accumulation. The Red team had 1155 lbs while the Blue team had a total of 2174 lbs. We asked one general from each team about his reaction to the outcome; Red general Josh Sham said, "I knew we were losing the snow battle so we focused on golf balls and ended up winning most of the rounds!" Blue general Rob West said, "I was very proud that we pretty much had double the amount of snow than Red!" There are many more events coming up so stay tuned!
