The heat is back for round two but here at the Waterfront, we sure know how to keep cool! First and second period have been filled with banana boat rides, sailing, and canoe lessons. Oldest Mohawk came down to spend some time with the Waterfront staff. M7, the lucky bunk to be the first one riding the banana boat rodeo had the ride of their lives while enjoying the cool spray of the lake. The wind picked up for M5 as they set out on a late morning sail. Don’t worry parents, sun screen was generously lathered. As for the staff, training has still continued for our new activity counselors. They are getting the hang of rigging and de-rigging our five different types of sailboats and the boat house is looking spotless thanks to help from the collective staff. Well, back to the “T” dock to set out on yet another lake front adventure! Stay cool, drink lots of water, and don’t forget your hats!
