Tikkun Olam: Rock Garden Forever

Margo Weiss, Rebecca Brindza and Mike Lape are working to restore the Tusc 2008 memorial. The memorial represents people who have passed and contributed to the community here at CSL. Above the Rock Garden stood a wooden post stating the garden’s purpose. However, after years of wear and tear, the words had faded away. Rebecca traced over the words so we can all appreciate the garden once again. The stones with the names of the people we wish to remember had faded and chipped away as well. These were painted orange and yellow with the words of the past reprinted on them. Now, CSL will be able to appreciate those who have helped our community thrive every day. If we keep doing projects like these, the legacies of those who have truly made a difference will live on forever.
