Time travel hobby group might as well be called Cayugans plus Shira running throughout camp hobby group. The first day was Roman Gladiators where the kids Live Action Role Played (LARP) in the gaga pit. Steven came out on top. He said, "that was easily the best hobby session of the summer!"
The next hobby session, we went to ancient China. We pitted the Mongolians against the Chinese as they fought to destroy and build the Great Wall respectively. After, they headed to A&C to make terracotta warriors out of model magic. Colby paid the hobby a high compliment: "It was much more organized than I would have expected it to be, and I had a lot of fun."
Yesterday we went back in time in Nordic Lands to have Viking sea battles with water balloons in canoes. After, we played a CSL version of Clash of Clans. Alex put it simply: "that was awesome!"
The campers as well as the staff lead by the lovely Cameron Isen and Omeed Alidadi are itching for the next session to come!
