Programming Adds Major Piece for 2014

Dear CSL Community:

It is with great pleasure that I announce the hiring of Sarah Rosenbaum for CSL 2014 as Associate Program Director.  Sarah brings with her a very exciting and important skillset that will allow the CSL Program further growth.  Like most other CSL staff, Sarah has grown up in this environment, attending camp since she was 9 years old.  She was a Tusc camper in 2009 and has been an outstanding counselor in both Onondaga and Seneca for the last three summers.

Originally from Fayetteville, New York (Syracuse area), Sarah attended the Hebrew Day School prior to Fayetteville-Manlius High School.  She graduated in 2012 and has since been studying at Penn State University.  Currently in her sophomore year, Sarah is a Supply Chain Management Major with a Minor in International Business.  Sarah is very active on campus, serving as a member of the Alpha Omicron Phi Sorority and of the Phi Gamma Nu Business Fraternity.

Her interests in business operations played a big role in her decision to move into Programming in 2014 as she will oversee logistics and organization for all programs.  Sarah will thus be highly-involved across camp and will periodically assume the role of Program Director on a variety of occasions.  This will follow in her sister, Rachel’s, footsteps as she served camp in a similar capacity in 2013.

“Although I started attending camp when I was 9, it had been a part of my life long before that.  My three older siblings attended CSL as was as my mother.  For my family and me, camp was and continues to be tradition.  I want to give back to the place that has made such a profound impact on my life and being a part of the Programming Staff will provide exactly that opportunity.  So I am thrilled to be back at CSL in 2014 and serve in this new capacity.”

We are ecstatic to have Sarah with us at CSL in 2014.

All The Best,
Ari Baum, Assistant Director & Program Director
