During Color War 7 I was on the winning team, the Blue team. One of the events was the Iron (Wo)Man. I was one of the 2 Tusc girls chosen to do it for my team. Ever since Onondoga I looked p to the Tusc campers in Color War and I always wanted to do the Iron (Wo)Man. I was really nervous right before the event and kept thinking of the worst possible outcomes. The airhorn blew and we began swimming...My Strongest part of the event. I was first out of the pool and then came the biking, the hardest part for me. I was really scared because earlier in the summer I fell off bike and got hurt. I finished the biking and was confident I was going to finish strong. During the running I got really tired and wanted to stop. All of my friends were running besides me and kept pushing me and told me I couldn't stop. When I approached the finish line, both teams, Red and Blue, were cheeting me on and I sprinted to home-plate.
After I finished people from both teams congratulated me and it shows how even though we are separated we all can still come together.
