As the summer wraps up, I am constantly impressed by how much the campers have grown as individuals. Mohawk functions as a united village; they demonstrate empathy and respect for each other at levels I have not seen in 12-14 year old boys. My bunk, M-3, was excited to play baseball this morning and they are looking forward to drama and athletics this afternoon. The campers realize that the summer is coming to a close and are making every effort to make the most of the last few days in this paradise. So am I.
