Cayuga Chronicles
Color was an amazing experience for both myself and my campers. Throughout the program I was able to spend an extended period of time with 3 onondogans and 3 of our cayugans, preparing and practicing for a showdown performance. In less than two days we discovered an amazing Onondagan voice and many talented actors who were all able to quickly learn scenes from Grease. What impressed me most was that these younger campers, after only two days of practice, were confident enough to perform something entirely new to them in front of the whole camp. At camp we like to accredit this to the supportive community that we have even when the whole camp is pinned against each other.
