Dear family and friends of CSL,
Today is a couple of days after color war and most of the staff and campers are still recovering. It was a hard fight and although the red team fell short to the blue team, who won will only take up a meaningless line in the history books. The real memories will come from games like the one on the first day when I played kickball with one other staff member and a great group of Cayugans and Onondagans. A game filled with people running harder through the bases than the probably thought they could and seemingly impossible catches over a shoulder in the outfield ended in the 9th inning at the score of 9 to 8 (red team won). Other memories will come from cheering on the best of seven sporting evens and trying to lead chants of "let's go red" and "defense" during basketball.
Today everyone seems to be getting back into things though, and having a good time on Cayuga day, with falls filled with smiles at Reva's Rollerdome and great games of mini golf.
