Mohawk - M7 Takeover

After a double header of Mohawk National League, all of the youngest and middle Mohicans got ready for their campout. With sleeping bags and backpacks in hand, they left for their one day trip at Treman Park in Ithaca. The oldest mohicans in M7 were therefore left to represent the village alone. Even with the majority of the village gone, M7 displayed their leadership skills when they cheered during lunch. The members of M7 powered through an exhausting competition during the "Amazing Race" evening village night. The campers had to run all around camp, stopping frequently to complete various tasks. The final task was to ignite the pre-constructed fire in the Mohawk fire circle. All of the counselors were extremely proud when they saw that the Mohicans waited for everyone to complete the race before lighting the fire.
