NO ONE CARES IF YOU ARE TIRED
Has anyone ever said to you, “I feel so tired?”Most likely, if you have existed on this planet for longer than 3 months, you have heard these words uttered. Interestingly enough, though people continue to perpetuate this expression, it is what one might call a “conversational buzzkill.” In all of my 26 years, and Jesse’s 19 years, neither of us have really heard a conversation that begins with “I feel so tired,” evolve past the listener responding, “yeah, me too.”
This summer, as a staff, we are committed to actively ending this conversational cycle by NEVER BEING TIRED. That’s right parents. We have decided that our energy for camp is boundless and everlasting and everyone working here is dedicated to having their game-face on at all time. Camp is only seven weeks at most, and therefore we are charging our batteries now for the majestic road that lies ahead.
Even when we sleep, we will sleep NOT because we are tired, but because it is customary to do so.
