It is with great pleasure that I announce Kevin
Snyder’s appointment as Athletics Program Leader for 2015. In a summer where
all Program Areas (formerly known as Specialty Areas) will be undergoing
curricular growth, it makes a lot of sense that Snyder take on this position.
After graduating from Allegheny College last Spring, Kevin began full-time work
in Education at the Ross School on Long Island. He teaches history, coaches
soccer, and lives/works in a dorm as well.
Kevin began his CSL career in Athletics, first
serving as Tennis Specialist in the summer of 2012. It was not long before he
moved to a village, working as a Cayuga counselor in August before moving on to
Tuscarora in 2013 and 2014. Kevin played tennis at Allegheny and was initially
exposed to CSL through his then-coach Greg Kreitzer (former Tennis Specialist,
Tusc Counselor 2009-2010, and Mohawk Unit Head 2011-2012).
We are excited to have Kevin back for a fourth
summer and taking on this important role.
