Devo Comes to Tusc

After three summers as an outstanding Mohawk counselor, David Jevotovsky went to Programming to become one of the most effective Judaic Educators CSL has ever seen. He missed being with the campers and had always wanted to be a Tusc counselor, and with his window to be at camp closing, David has accepted an offer to become a counselor with Tuscarora 2015.

The familiarity is certainly there. David was previously a counselor with the same group of boys in middle Mohawk two summers ago. David’s brother Mathew is the Tusc Unit Head. But David will also continue to be involved with Judaica as he will work with Programming on running Shabbat services as he did in 2014.

Originally from Rochester, New York, David grew up at CSL, a Senior Camper himself in 2009. David now studies at Emory University as a Human Health major, planning to attend Medical School following his expected graduation in 2016.

We are thrilled to have David back at CSL in 2015, moving on to Tusc, but still continuing the strong work he began in Judaica in 2014.

Sincerely,

Ari Baum, Associate Director
