Dear CSL family,Wednesday was yet another spectacular day down Camp Road. After a delicious breakfast of toast and eggs, the Cayugans cleaned their cabins and played some classic roofball. For first period, the boys had CFL and boy was it spectacular. The intensity was high as always, and the Cayugans were doing everything they could to give their teams the W. I, personally, got to play quarterback for the Tiyulim Packers today, and I engaged in a heated quarterback duel with fill-in quarterback Josh Sham. Our teams went back and forth all game, throwing up touchdown after touchdown, but ultimately it was the Ropes Course Raiders that came out on top, 49-42, after a touchdown with ten seconds remaining in the game. Today’s CFL period was absolutely the best of the summer, and the boys are definitely beginning to appreciate the soon to be tradition of playing CFL in August. The afternoon consisted of hobbies, and it was a great hobby period as always. My hobby this session is Camp Extreme Training, and today we ran up Camp Road and headed to the fruit stand a short walk away. There, we ate watermelon, cantaloupes, cucumbers, peaches, and peppers, all unbelievably fresh and delicious. It was a phenomenal outing with the Camp Extreme Training squad, and we are steadily gearing up for our Hobby Culmination race.At night was a PUP with the boys of Cayuga and girls of Onondaga. There was lots of water and running around camp, a perfect recipe for a younger camper program. The kids absolutely loved the program, and following, we headed back to the village to put the Cayugans to sleep. It was a full day in the ‘Uge, but tomorrow will be even better. Something special is right around the corner... Stay tuned.Cayuga love,Alec JacobsonCayuga Unit Head
