"What's your favorite camp memory?" is without a doubt the hardest question for me to answer. How can I convince people that the past 8 summers I have spent here at camp have been the best of my life, if I can't think of my favorite things that have happened? Yes, I love color war. Yes, I loved my tusc trip. Yes, I loved participating in Senecans from Hell in 2008. But, I still cannot think of my all-time favorite memory. Camp as a whole, between daily activities and programs, has created a large memory of how I have chosen to spend my summers. There are definitely moments throughout my past 8 summers that stand out more than others. Like trying to capsize the ski dock in 2011, or crying as a first year camper during the "Evacuation of Camp" in 2006. Well I am happy to share with all of you that I created a camp memory tonight. One that will stand above the many memories I make every minute of every day. Following casino night this evening, my "Extended Mispacha" had the absolute privilege of participating in the family vacation to the "Hawaiian Punch Exploration" (or something along those lines). We played baseball with fruit and vegetables. That's right, potatoes, apples, oranges, quartered watermelons, CANTALOUPES, WHOLE WATERMELONS!!!! I personally had the pleasure of line driving a cantaloupe. When's the last time you can say you did that? Tonight's evening program was one of the best things I have done at camp. Truly one for the books.
