I'm Chase Cohen, you may have read my previous blog post from July. I love CSL so much that I go both sessions. Recently, I was reflecting on this week's Shabbat theme," Every ending brings a new beginning." As the July session ends, the August session begins. Even though the "August Session" started in July. The sessions are completely different. MNL turns to MAL and now there are three eldest bunks. I am originally an August camper so my brothers that surround me are very familiar. I like how the sessions are different because it add variety and excitement to the year. For example, today is Mohawk History day and we have been visited by Greg Kreitzer, Jon Broder, and Ari Baum. Ari was the Mohawk unit head in 2005-06. He is telling the story he tells us every year. The story of how Mohawk and Cayuga switched physical spaces. This is my fourth time hearing this story and I still enjoy it. Every time he adds a little more detail. Just like camp changes every year.
