Hey CSL! Its me, Miranda, here again to give you some updates from the wonderful village which I feel insanely lucky to call my home this summer, none other than Seneca.
Today was a crazy day and not just because of the incredible amount of rain, which we faced bravely for the majority of the day, but because it was the first ever "village morning," in replacement of "village night." We were so lucky that the rain held off for us this morning for the program!
That being said, unfortunately the entire village could not be with us to experience it because of camp outs. That didn't stop oldest, though! The oldest girls really got after it at the waterfront with an apache relay, including paddle boarding to the ski dock, and swimming back, all the while competing against each other.
We ended the program with a fun party-boat ride, and the girls got to jump in the lake and swim around for a while, which was really refreshing given the temperature. They all seemed to relish the program itself plus, having a morning program instead of evening was an awesome change for today!
I can't wait to see what other changes are coming our way here at CSL, but for now we will be embracing everything thrown our way here in the sisterhood.
