Yesterday we woke up to the oldest bursting into our cabins screaming that it was S-Day! We ate breakfast in the village and got split into our animal groups. Our groups were made up of one or two girls from each age group in Seneca.
After a two hour bus ride, we arrived at the Rosamond Zoo in Syracuse! While there, my group saw an elephant show about a 46 year-old Asian elephant named Siri, and it was very cute. We also walked around and ate lunch at picnic tables!!
After lunch, we went to Gannon's Ice Cream Shop and got AMAZING soft-serve ice cream cones. We then went to the Destiny USA mall and went to a new place called 5 Wits. Each team could choose between a tomb adventure or an espionage mission. We ran through rooms doing puzzles and tasks to complete our missions. I did the spy mission where I had to stop a bad guy from starting World War III! We completed the mission in 26 minutes which was a record time!!
Then we walked around Marshall Street right next to Syracuse University. We walked around, went into shops and obviously got a Starbucks. After doing that for a little while, we got 16 pizza pies at Varsity Pizza and it was amazing!! We then traveled back to camp to watch the movie Hairspray in the O-rec. Seneca day was so fun and was planned really well!!
