Hadar's Final Campfire Speech:
I cannot believe that this session and my time in Seneca has come to an end. The memories and friendships I have made are innumerable. For the entire year leading up to my oldest senecan summer, all I could think about was my anticipation for the countless dance parties and sisterhood campfires. Seneca is my home away from home. This was the only place I wanted to be. The summers I have spent in Seneca have been the most meaningful and memorable summers of my life. I have learned so much from my sisters and my staff that will stay with me forever, such as perseverance and always keeping a positive mental attitude.
I remember the first night of youngest seneca at our village campfire, an oldest senecan said something I will always remember: "cherish every moment you have in the village," she began. "Your time in Seneca will fly by, and before you know it, you will be at the final campfire of your oldest year." These words stuck with me and As a result, I have tried my hardest to to take advantage of my time here and now, here I am at the final campfire of my oldest year, speaking in front of all of you. I will always remember my time in this village filled with fun loving, hilarious girls who will always brighten my day. I will always remember those sleepless nights spent laughing and talking in our bunk beds. I will always remember bonding with the younger girls and my Seneca family. I am excited for what is to come in the future, but the village of Seneca will forever be in my heart.
