Oh how I adore Shabbat mornings. I mean, who does not love a breakfast in bed? Or... really just a breakfast in village. But seriously, there is nothing better than slumping out of your bed, looking out your window, and finding a display of bagels awaiting you. Whoever came up with the marvelous idea of Saturday morning breakfasts is truly a genius.
My campers were anxiously waiting to have services at the Golden View. They had not been there since their Tikkun Olam culmination last summer. What is so great about that place, is that you feel as if you are truly a part of nature. There really is no moment of silence because the space is filled with the wind blowing or the trees rustling. It is the most common feeling of all. Truly the perfect place for a Shabbat service.
