Good morning!
Yesterday sparked the beginning of the August session! The Seneca staff greeted our old and new campers with open arms as always! We patiently awaited the arrival of our Senecans and were privileged to see old friends reunite as they sprinted off the buses and into each other's arms. With energy bumping as always we ate lunch in the dining hall while dancing our tushies off as per first day expectations. We then departed for the village to get ready for our afternoon full of the usual first day activities.
For evening program, the sister program was broken, as per tradition. The senecans discussed their hopes and dreams with their older and younger sisters while making dream catchers together. It was an awesome program and the girls loved every second of it. We then departed for opening ceremonies where the Seneca staff performed another action packed dance! Everyone then headed down to the fire circle where we sang songs and enjoyed our first all camp campfire of the August session. The Senecans culminated the busy day with our own campfire, allowing the village to bond as a whole and prepare for the session!
We had an absolutely incredible day and we can't wait to share all of the awesome programs we have in store for the girls this session!
