Pine Tree Post

The cold rain drenched the excited campers as the Party Boat was called back to shore on account of thunder. Every Cayugan camper and staff member crammed into the boathouse with the waterfront counselors. This moment which seemed dismal turned into a memorable day for all. This difficult beginning to the august session was met with comraderie amd ebullience as returning campers and staff taught the newcomers the Cayugan cheers. By the end of the delay the boathouse was erupting with shouts of Cayugan pride and am eagarmess to showcase our voice at lunch.

Later, as the unfortunate weather continued, campers learned the rules to the new Cayuga Football League, but only after bring introduced to their new teammates and coaches. Campers expressed am sincere excitement for the CFL season which will begin shortly. Overall, the adverse weather today was met with a headstrong desire to have fun at CSL and, as always, the latter prevailed.
