Matchup between Camp Greenlake and Elmira Pioneers Training Camp
1st Half:
Clarence wins the face off and sends it deep into the corner. Adam chases after it, but Ethan is there to shut him down. The ball shoots out front to Clarence but Steven makes the save 30 seconds in. He throws it over half but Colby is waiting for it there to send it back to the offensive end. Every time it comes over Colby and Ben throw it back. Zach and Adam have small chance with this dynamic duo. All of a sudden Charlie makes the save, but throws it to Eli on the other team. Eli sends it in front of the goal where Adam buries it for Greenlake to take a 1-0 lead. Clarence wins the next face off and sends it down to Adam again. Adam and Alex are battling down low Nd Ethan comes in to send it away. Eli and Clarence are battling on both ends of the court as the centers are constantly moving. Josh nails Eric in the leg as the ball bounces to the wall. Steven poke checks it away, but Ben is the first person to get to the ball and takes a shot that just misses. The ball goes all the way down to the other end of the court, where Zach fires a shot that Charlie barely is able to save. It trickles past the goal, just wide, and you could hear the moans in the air. A sudden injury timeout sets the game on pause. The yelling begins during the timeout as the heat is leading to frustration. The game resumes with Clarence winning his third faceoff of the first half. One minute remaining and Eric takes a shot that Steven snags and throws down the length of the court. Eli, Colby, and Clarence battle I'm the corner resulting with Eli and Zach keeping it in the offensive end. Eli is able to get one final shot off but Charlie steers it aside to end the half 1-0 Greenlake.
2nd Half:
Colby wins the second half faceoff and sends it to Clarence. They switched positions for this half. The ball goes over the board and Eli takes a shot and scores! However, it wasn't touched off the indirect shot so the goal is disallowed. Clarence takes the face off dribbles down and scores! But he was I'm the crease so that goal was disallowed for Elmira. Ethan with the clear, Zach with the shot, Charlie with the save. Score remains 1-0. The substitutes are running in, chaos and intensity is on the court. Josh and Adam are battling in front of the goal, with josh coming in for the clear. A very hard shot by Zach leads to another big save by Charlie. A violent check by Ethan removes him from the game, and Colby takes advantage by burying it by Steven to tie the game at one. After a back and forth, Clarence takes the ball dribbles past the defense and scores! 2-1 Elmira pioneers training camp. The coaches are getting really into this one. After another battle between Colby and Adam, Clarence snipes the top corner to bring the lead to two. Ethan returns from serving his penalty. Right away he stops two Clarence attacks. The clock winds down and the ball is thrown in the air as the Elmira Pioneers Training camp wins 3-1.
