Hey I'm Rachel and I'm an O-5 waterfront activity counselor! I am having so much fun getting to know all of the girls! This week, all of Onondaga came to the waterfront and the youngest girls learned to waterski whilst the older girls learned about sailing! It was awesome watching them find interest in boating and the lake!
Last night and this morning we had our very first Shabbat at camp with both campers and staff! All of the girls looked beautiful in their Shabbat outfits! We learned a whole bunch of new songs and prayers. We even sang American Pie in honor of the Fourth of July! I had so much fun singing along with all of the campers, in comparison last week's Shabbat was extremely lonely.
This first week of camp has been incredible, and I can't wait to see what else this month has in store!
