Ononbloga: Final Campfire Speech

Onondaga, think about that word for a moment. Do you think about girls

screaming in high pitched tones? Do you think about endless piggy back rides

and lap sitting? Do you think about the village that is closest to the dining hall?

I don't. That's not what Onondaga is. Onondaga is fun, it's spontaneous, it's

living in the moment. The girls of Onondaga are truly amazing young girls. You

girls make me smile everyday, you definitely make me laugh everyday and

sometimes you even make me want to cry... In a good way. I'm so proud of

you 50 Onondagans that I have had the honor of looking  after for the past 2

and a half weeks. Short or tall, young or old, each of you girls have your own

special place in the village of Onondaga and always will whether your names

are written on the cabins or not. Embodying Onondaga is not an easy task,

contrary to what everyone else may believe. With that being said we have

chosen Lexi Brog to speak on behalf of the village of Onondaga.
