Wow! I can't believe I am in oldest Onondaga already! Onondaga has formed
me into a better person! Onondaga is all about teamwork and friendship.
When I walk into Onondaga with everyone and see all the smiles and laughing
I know that I am home. From mass monkeys to mass program the big "O" is
always having fun. When just the oldest girls went on a camp out we all
bonded so much! We were in a tent with girls from both bunks. It's like I have
12 other sisters and 3 moms. When we all came together and learned our fight
song it was just so fun for the older and younger girls. We all worked so hard,
but then we lost. We also won in so many ways because the village became
closer and we had an awesome experience. We were all crying and the older
girls were all comforting the younger girls and making them feel better by
telling them that the only thing that mattered is that they tried their best. Being
in Onondaga was a lot of fun. Just thinking about going into Seneca with my
bunk mates brings a smile to my face, but also a tear. I am very sad to be
leaving Onondaga but I know Seneca will be lots of fun too.
