Boondoggle Blogger

Hey hey! It's Caitlin here.

I'm an S-3 activities counselor for A&C! I'm also your weekly columnist bringing the ins and outs of the kraft shack here at CSL.

I would like to start off by informing everyone reading this post that only during my 10th year at camp, and now as an official staff member, I have learned not only how to do boondoggle creations, but how to START them. Seeing as everyone, no matter what village, always enjoys the privilege of making these creations at the end of A&C periods, my newly acquired (and long overdue) skills will come in handy.

However, this section of the Camp Seneca Lake blog is about more than just boondoggle and bracelets. In future weeks, I'll be informing you about many more interesting occurrences that happen at the kraft shack. I find it to be one of the most special and enjoyable areas of camp for all campers to let their creative side shine. Just make sure to put a hold on the glitter. It gets everywhere!!

In honor of the first week at CSL, all of the campers traced their hands, decorated them in a unique way, and finally cut them out. The A&C staff will then be putting together each of these first project pieces to form one large masterpiece! I can't wait to share what happens in the coming week!

Until then,
 xoxo from your boondoggle blogger!
