A Twist on the Tale of Time

Yesterday was like any other day here at CSL. Campers started off the day with regular periods, spending time at the pool, waterfront, A&C, and all so forth. In the afternoon Hobbies began, The fresh smell of burgers and dogs rose from the pit cooking area, campers sweat as they played speedball or trained for a swim across the lake. Yes, yesterday was like any other day....until general swim.

Imagine standing next to a bunk mate talking about your day when all of a sudden people start running by screaming and pointing at a group, huddled around something in the S-field.
You sprint over to find ten people dressed up in an unusual way, digging a giant hole in the ground and screaming about how "the treasure belongs to them"!

"ONE, TWO THREE FOUR WE WANT A COLOR WAR!" breaks out as you follow the group of diggers down to the O-rec stage to find out more. Upon arrival there is a judicial hearing going on where each teams lawyer is explaining to the camp why the family the represent deserves the treasure because of its ties too it throughout the ages of history.

"There is only one way to settle this argument" says the judge "AND THAT IS TO LOOK BACK IN AMERICAN HISTORY TO UNCOVER WHICH FAMILY IS MOST DESERVING OF THE TREASURE!" And with a swing of his gavel, this years Mass Program begins.

Which family is that that you ask? Is it the Pennyworths, a family raised on old money who have established themselves as powerful and financially sound? The Gough-Getters, a family who has led generations of people and claimed to have protected the treasure and will continue to do so until their dying breath? The Redfords? Who claim it has always belonged to them, but was hidden from them by their crazy demented ancestor, destroying their family legacy and leaving them with nothing. The Atoms, a family with a long lineage of genius, some so genius they may even call them "mad", who have kept tabs on the treasure throughout history. Or is it the Zennons, A family maybe not so tied to the treasure, but believe it is a treasure of the people and under their possession it would be used to better the world.

Stay tuned to hear all about the exciting events that are to take place over the next day as we take a trip back through time to uncover the path through history that this treasure has taken.
