Dear CSL Community:
It is with pleasure that I announce our Onondaga Unit Head will be Lorenn Kassel! Lorenn is no stranger to Camp Seneca Lake, fifteen(!) summers in total. Starting with her youngest Onondaga summer, and culminating with her most recent appointment as Tusc AUH in 2012. As a longtime CSL’er Lorenn understands the tradition and energy the Big-O requires and I’m excited to see what she can do!
Outside of the time spent at Camp, Lorenn earned her bachelor’s degree in Media Management from SUNY New Paltz in 2011 and has been putting her knowledge to good use in San Francisco, California where she currently lives and works.
Even though she wasn’t able to join us last summer, Camp is still a place that means an awful lot to her.
"Simply put, I love camp. I began camp as an Onondagan and it was there I realized camp is my favorite place on earth. I feel lucky I get to return to the place and to the village that has brought me so much joy, and has given me memories and friends that I'll have forever. "
CSL, our staff, and the Big-O should be psyched for having Lorenn as their Unit Head in 2014.
