Dear CSL Community:
It is with great pleasure that I announce the hiring of Alec Jacobson as the CSL 2014 Cayuga Unit Head! Alec began his CSL career as a Cayuga Cub in 2002 and hasn’t missed a summer since. Alec spent the summers of 2010 – 2012 as a Cayuga staff member (the last as the Assistant Unit Head), before joining the ranks of the Tuscarora staff this past summer. Alec has incredible patience and a genuine love for the village of Cayuga, we couldn’t be happier to have him lead the Pine Tree Village this summer.
Alec is from Pittsford, NY and is currently studying writing and rhetoric (not to mention he’s also pre-med) at Syracuse University. Earlier this year Alec was accepted to SUNY Upstate Medical University where he will begin his studying in August of 2015.
"The Cayuga Unit Head position is something that I have always wanted ever since I was a CIT in 2009. Now that this dream has come true, I could not be more excited to lead the village of the Pine Tree People. There is simply nothing greater than a summer at CSL, and I look forward to seeing you all in 2014!"
