Mohawk Welcomes Max

Dear CSL Community:

It is with great pleasure that I announce the hiring of Max Krieger as the CSL 2014 Mohawk Unit Head.  CSL has been part of Max’s life for the last 18 years.  He’s been a camper, counselor, part of the programming team and most recently has served as our Cayuga Unit Head during the summers of 2012 and 2013 where he famously help lead the village to a 2012 Fight Song championship. Max brought incredible energy and enthusiasm to the Cayuga village and we can’t wait to see the same in Mohawk this summer.

Max has an undergraduate degree in Physical Education from Syracuse University and served as the Athletics Director at a private middle/high school since 2010.  Max has recently moved back to the Rochester area to pursue his Master’s Degree in Education, specializing in Adaptive Physical Education.

"I am extremely thrilled to be returning to Camp Seneca Lake this coming summer of 2014. Even though it will be my 18th summer at Camp, I am just as excited to return as if it were my first summer. Being at CSL is wonderful and truly impacts everyone's lives in so many positive ways. Where else would anyone rather be?!

"Mohawk Unit Head is something I am excited for. I will strive to make a positive difference for each Mohican camper much like my Mohawk staff did for me in the early 2000's. The Mohawk staff this summer will be positive role models and give the campers the best summer of their lives. Mohawk, get ready… Mo! Mo! Mo!"

CSL and Mohawk are lucky to have Max as their leader in 2014.
All the Best,
Aaron Cantor, Director
