Today we spent out day at Robert H. Treman Park in Ithaca. First, we went on a 5 mile hike through the gorges and waterfalls and climbed many stairs. We learned a lot about trees and plants. To keep our minds busy during the hike, the staff gave us riddles to solve.
Josh and Vinnie, the Tiyulim staff, taught us how to "pogo." In the middle of the hike we stopped for lunch and had fun doing gymnastics and chilling out. When we reached the campsite, we were given our tent and crew assignments. At every campout, the campers are split up into groups that clean, cook, and build the fire. The groups are currently hard at work preparing for dinner. We can't wait to enjoy the rest of this amazing trip!
