Stories With Seneca

Today was a very relaxing Shabbat. After sleeping in late and eating breakfast in the village, the entire camp ventured to the new tikkun olam spot for Saturday morning services. Next came discussion groups. S-1, M-1, and M-2 had a very intellectual conversation about what it means to be Jewish.

Tonight we had an exciting evening program. Every person in camp dressed up in togas, and there was lots of LARPing (live action role playing) where gladiators battled each other to see who was the strongest. Finally, we ended the night with a peaceful havdallah service in the fire circle.

Currently, the girls in S-1 and S-2 are packing for their camp out tomorrow. It should be a very exciting and busy day tomorrow for us!
