Today was the final Saturday of the session. We started off as usual -- a sleep -in and breakfast in the village. We had a beautiful morning service in the new Shabbat spot, where we were able to hear more stories and experiences from the Tuscarorans.
After the service, all of oldest Seneca gathered and we reflected on the past week and discussed our thoughts of what was to come in the future. We also discussed the concept of change in our own lives, and ways in which we could help ease each other's anxieties.
Senecans are always there for each other, through thick an thin, and we know our sisterly bonds will get us through anything life throws our way.
Tomorrow is campstock, so today we continued preparing our "graduation performance." We'll be singing "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. The song's lyrics touch upon change and cherishing the journey of life, not just the end result. This is more applicable as the session is coming to a close and we know our memories of this summer will last a lifetime.
