Stories With Seneca

Seneca Day started out in the best way possible - a sleep in! The girls were woken by the staff at 8:30, and were informed to dress in yoga attire for the morning. Breakfast was interspersed with yoga in the middle of the village.

We boarded the buses at 11, and drove directly to the New York Wine & Culinary Center to have an amazing pasta buffet for lunch and learn about using local, whole foods in the kitchen.

Following that, we took the girls to Canandaigua for about 40 minutes to explore with the staff -- many will be arriving home with some amazing thrift store finds! We then arrived at Roseland Bowl, where the girls were split into their TML teams and bowled for points.

Afterwards, the buses took us back to Geneva where we received a great treat of Mark's pizza for dinner! Right after eating, we attended a free concert. While the band, music and patrons were a little older than we were expecting, the girls loved it and danced until we left, which was really nice to see.

We returned to camp and got into pj's and comfy clothes and finished off the day watching 'Camp Nowhere.'

From start to finish, the girls had an amazing attitude about the day and had a lot of fun. I know that it was one of my personal favorite Seneca Days!
