There's been a flurry of crafting in our Shak! Campers in the Fine Arts Hobby group have been working in a group painting, creating coiled paper sculptures embellished with beads, feathers and more, as well as creating their own stamped textiles out of wax pastels, silk screen ink and muslin. We are gearing up for the Art Show which will be on Tuesday for Hobby Culmination.
During bunk periods, campers have been tie-dying, collaging, playing with clay and crafting gifts for their Mystery Moses partners (to be exchanged on Monday). It's been a crafty summer up at the Shak! Special shout outs to our specialists, Elle, Jared, Isaac, Allison and Anastasia for a great summer!
