From Miranda, Color War

This past weekend I, along with the rest of the IsraeLITes helped to carry out the events in color war seven. Not being on a team, and being on the programming side this year was so different but equally exhausting and rewarding.

We spent our days setting up events and running them, making sure the program ran smoothly. And at night we attended countless programming meetings and filled up thousands and thousands of water balloons.

This experience gave me a completely different view on everything that happens at camp. The amount of preparation, planning and hard work that goes into each event is incredible. Everyone on the programming team puts their heart and soul into the program and watching everything come together was the best reward.

Although our time at CSL this summer has come to an end, the lessons we learned during the five days will last a lifetime and will help us during our futures at camp.

Thank you to CSL for welcoming us all with open arms after not being there for the beginning of the summer. And especially the programming staff and CSL in Israel staff for helping us accomplish so much.
