Today was yet another beautiful and exciting day at the waterfront. Our Hunter sailboats were finally ready set sail , meaning that the campers were able to partake in our Super Sail program! This activity allows campers to spend two hours out on the water learning about the parts of the boat and how to sail it themselves. It's also a nice two periods where waterfront staff members are able to meet and get to know some of the campers! Sometimes we use the Hobie boats but we find the Hunters to be more effective for the program seeing as they are larger boats. With the combination of good weather, positive attitudes and enthusiastic staff, campers from Mohawk, Cayuga and Onondaga were able to have great periods out on the water!
