Today tusc had one of our first "normal" days in a while (or even the first ever). The day began with triathlon training in the morning. Everyone pushed themselves very hard through each rotation of biking, swimming, and running, and then ended all together doing some "ab ripper". This afternoon we were able to contribute to the Tikkun Olam project of constructing a Saturday morning fire circle in the woods. The tusc campers discussed the importance of this project as a way to "leave our mark" on camp and contribute to our camp community in a positive and lasting way. Half of tusc spent the next period at A&C finding creative ways to make gifts for Mystery Moses! Sometimes it's nice between bike trips and banquet prep to enjoy a nice normal day of camp!
