This morning after our delicious breakfast of blueberry bread, as embarked on our journey to the Adirondacks. We were looking forward to learning our part of fight song on the bus, but the boys joined us so our practice didn't begin until we dropped them off 5 hours later at their camp site.
After our long journey to Schroon Lake, everybody was excited to get off the bus (finally) and pitch our tents at the beautiful and scenic campsite. We have a view of the gorgeous blue lake and the lush greenery on the surrounding mountains.
We set up our eating/cooking area in preparation for a yummy pasta dinner and anticipation of rainy weather (which luckily we didn't get). We are so excited to bond with our fellow oldest Senecans and staff, and to hopefully have cooked s'mores tonight unlike last night! We are all very nervous about the long, busy day ahead of us, but can't wait to see what we encounter on our 5 mile hike tomorrow.
